Of course, no first birthday cake smash session is complete without family photos. Before the cake came out, we captured timeless family portraits against the white backdrop — mom and dad cuddling their birthday girl, sweet giggles, and those tiny hands wrapped around their fingers. These moments are just as important as the cake smash itself, telling the full story of this milestone celebration.

When it was finally time for cake, she didn’t hesitate! Frosting-covered fingers, curious little bites, and joyful laughter filled the room. The fun part of smashing and playing with the cake is always my favorite time to capture.
